How to measure your platform
- Take the old mattress off and measure the wooden platform, not the mattress. Old mattresses sag and stretch.
- Measure width side to side and length head to foot, at the widest points.
- Check the corners. Some RV beds have a rounded or cut corner at the foot; note its radius for a custom order.
- Measure the height you have to the ceiling or the bunk above. A thick mattress can make a bunk hard to sit up in.
